Born, raised, and educated in Buffalo, NY. Graduated from State University of Buffalo with a bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design. Moved to Greensboro, NC in 1994, to study Sculpture with Robert Burkhart in Summerfield, NC. Founded imaginative initiatives in 2001, which was a sculpture company focusing on functional sculpture. Founded Lyndon St. Artworks in 2003, which was an artist collective of over 40 artists in a revitalized 1927 warehouse. In 2011 I began a teaching career at New Garden Friends School where I am currently teaching Visual Art, Photography/Filmmaking, and Graphic Design.
I specialize in creating functional sculpture. From fountains to furniture, figurative to abstract. My work is both imaginative and approachable.
For me, the act of creating is as fulfilling as the finished project. I believe that creating art requires vision, inspiration, motivation and technical skill, but above all should resonate and connect with the viewer. Creating is a continual process of learning, evaluating, and adjusting which in turn builds experience and confidence as an artist.
